grader, Fraser can explain and illustrate the differences between the various diamond grades.
Customers are also able to see a wide range of settings, diamonds and jewellery designs and are
encourage to try them all on! Diamond consultations are an informal and interesting way for you
to learn about diamonds and diamond jewellery and explain exactly what you want in an engagement
ring or piece of diamond jewellery. Our consultations are always free and you are under no obligation

When you go to choose your diamond engagement ring the first thing that you should be familiar with is the 4 C?s of diamond grading. The combination of a diamond?s cut grade, colour, clarity and carat weight will determine how valuable it is. In our experience, every person buying a diamond has a perfect combination of the 4 C?s and it is a very interesting journey finding out what this is!.

There are three main diamond certificates - GIA
, IGI and
HRD. A diamond
certificate is crucial to the confidence in your purchase. There is a large difference in price between,
for example G colour and H colour, yet how many times have you heard from a high-street jeweller "this is
G-H colour". Never buy a diamond without a certificate and always do you research as to the difference
between GIA, IGI and HRD, with GIA being of the highest quality and most truthful grading.
